harbor freight is great for limited use stuff like that. i think it's pointless to spend thousands on "quality" equipment unless body work this is something you plan to really get into.
i'd say it depends on what all you're doing and how you plan to do it as to exactly what stuff you should buy. i'm guessing since you linked a die grinder, you've got some rust to cut out... are you planning to weld in patch panels, use body filler, fiberglass, or what?
a good dolly/block/hammer kit is always nice to have, and i think they have one for cheap. slide hammer would be good too if you've got dents to pull.
body stuff is almost an art, and is 90% about skill imo. i've seen guys do amazing stuff with very limited/cheap tools, and i've seen some absolute crap from people with all the top of the line equipment and gadgets. 10/12/2007 11:48:08 PM |

yeah, a die grinder will work well... especially for getting into smaller spaces/creases of the A arms, torsion bar mounts, etc. 4" angle grinder with a wire wheel works well also for larger surfaces. 10/13/2007 12:20:10 AM |
