That's the error I get when I try to click on the wireless icon to hit "connect to network". If I right click I can get the menu to come up but can't select anything. If I go thru control panel and open network connections the screen just comes up white and never loads/locks up. I can still connect via Ethernet and via a pcmcia Cingular 3G card. I've uninstalled the adapter, disabled it, everything I can think of..

Any ideas?

Quick work around is to just create a new account on the computer, transfer all your data, delete the old account.

In my experience it's user profile specific - still not sure what causes the problem or how to get around it. Both times at work when I've run across this problem creating a new account or logging into another account still allowed you to use wireless.
