Hi everyone,

I'm looking for someone Photoshop savvy to plaster this logo on an image of the Enterprise from Startrek (any version of the ship). Only the big block "HiPerDSP" logo, not the text. The logo can be found here:

I can't offer any monetary reward, but you will be given credit for the picture in a presentation to be given before the HiPerDSP Laboratory in the ECE Department. You will also be welcome to attend the presentation, which could be a good opportunity for an ECE student interested in pursuing a MSEE in DSP at NCSU. No trolling please.

you expect someone to actually spend a decent amount of time and get creative? and what would you expect to use as an image of the enterprise? It's not like there's beautiful 20mp images floating around.

sorry, actually what i really meant was that the logo looks like a piece of high school crap.

i mean, it was a nice touch with the rotation and wrapping around the engine. and its not like you have some vested interest in making a professional piece of graphic art.

i mean, first with the logo, and then with the "star trek" idea (not so much your execution) .... if this is supposed to somehow represent NCSU's graduate studies in DSP.... holy crap.

i actually like that top one (NX-01) thats a cool effect.

now if he just comes up with a logo that doesnt look like it was crafted in MS Paint, you might actually have something there.

The presentation will be two weeks from today, Nov. 13, at 1:15pm. The topic will pertain to basic research for a small satellite project my lab is working on.
