I'm not much on the protest chants, but she really does need to go. The Democrats/liberals out there that want their party to win or retain control--Congress and otherwise--need to realize this, too. And it's not just Pelosi--Reid also needs to go.
I swear I am giving you my true opinion about this unfettered by political ideology. The Pelosi-Reid team has been a leadership disaster. Where are the likes of Democratic leaders such as Tip O'Neill, Tom Foley, George Mitchell, and others of days gone by?
The Democrats have lost on SCHIP, whether they know it yet or not (they won't be able to override a veto); and the Armenian thing, which nobody--including Bill Maher--can figure out why in hell they're doing now anyway; and a string of other issues. Look, if Maher won't defend your liberal cause or position or bill du jour, then you're screwed.

Pelosi backtracks on Armenia 'genocide' bill
Quote : | "Nancy Pelosi, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, on Wednesday backtracked on her support for a congressional resolution that has infuriated Turkey's government, amid doubts over whether the measure would ever be approved.
As recently as the weekend, Ms Pelosi said she planned to take the bill, denouncing mass killings of Armenians during the Ottoman Empire as genocide, to the full House this year." |

The current not-so-dynamic duo of Pelosi and Reid is hurting the Democratic Party. Believe it.10/18/2007 1:01:12 AM |
