Graduation

With my PRT degree I would like to work with a city recreation department as a facility/department supervisor, work with a professional baseball/football/basketball organization, or something like that.... But most likely, I will be going to work with my dad for our family business.

I checked the school tool, and I can't seem to find any bad remarks about any of these teachers (except for Mayr, who doesn't have any data).

For anybody in CSC; does my schedule look too packed? Dr. Adams recommended that I might at least not want to take both 316 and 333 quite yet, at least not while I'm taking 230 and 236. Any suggestions?

Rhee is really tough, but you will learn a lot.

Mayr for 333 was one of my worst academic experiences ever. He is very difficult, very stiff, unapproachable and gave me the worst grade I've ever made.

My schedule's gonna be rough. All on Tuesday, Thursday starting at 10:15 and running to like 5:45 with a 2 hour break after the first class.

to the CSC guy:

I would drop 333 for a later date. Take it with Balik, she might not be the best ncsu has to offer but it will make this semester a lot more bearable. I have heard some bad stories about Mayr. Balik for 333 over the summer was a breeze.

You will love 236, Lasher is the shit. Rhee was tough, but it was a rewarding experience in the end. You will spend a lot of time on programs in 316, so a 12 hour semester might not be worst thing in the world.

yeah, i didn't want to do that at all. those classes just had one section each (for most of them). one of them had another section that was mwf at 8:10, i figured i might as well just sacrifice the tues/thurs completely and be able to sleep in mwf.

hong is ok, just make sure you do/understand the homeworks, because the tests are very similar to them.

i've heard lots of good things about arroway, and st370 is very easy in general.

^^^ if you are going to graduate school, you may want to consider swapping ST511 with ST512R. You probably won't learn anything in 511 that you haven't already done in 301 and 302.

it could potentially be 15 hours

instead of prt491d, i was going to take prt 420(which is probably the class most closely related to my career)

well that professor is going out of the country and the advisor is like, "i'll let ec202 count for prt 420"

well anyone thats taken ec202 knows that having that count for an important class like prt420 is a BIG trade off

so i'm like "is there ANYTHING i can take that would help me out more than ec202" and shes like 491d is the only thing i can think of, its some special topics class...has 2 overnight field trips, and the teacher is Kline

basically, i could have 15 hours, but i'd rather take a class i can get something out of, so i'm taking 18 hours
