Just watched the sneak preview at Crossroads...

pretty amazing movie.

I'm positive Ryan Gosling is the only person who could have pulled that role off.

anyone else get to watch this?

This is playing at Galaxy Cinema right now:
1:20, 4:20, 7:15, 9:30
showtimes through Thursday.

I was really impressed with Gosling when I saw him in Half Nelson so I'm really looking forward to catching this next week.

Just saw this last night with my girl and we both agreed that it was a great movie.

Great acting, writing, everything. It's more sad than I thought it'd be (based on this thread and the trailer), but the overall story and the message is awesome.

Will this still be playing Friday, or does it end Thursday?

Really great movie. ^^it was much sadder than I expected too, but so bittersweet.

I loved Karen (Phoebe in 30 Rock. I couldn't place her and it drove me crazy during the movie) and the Doctor lady too. The women in the movie seemed to handle it much better than then men (mainly Gus).

I basically want to have Ryan Gosling's babies. He was outstanding.

And despite a few cliches here and there, it was a great film... Hell, I'll admit it, I teared up a couple times.

It's going to be playing next week, don't worry.

I saw it tonight in Greensboro. Thanks for the extra recommend, Miska. I heard about the movie, and wanted to see it. But I didn't know if it was a yay or nay. But since Mish said it was good, I told my "movie buddy" about it and convinced her to see it.

Much sadder than I expected, but reaaaaally good. The bear scene was sooo cute. But I have to say that I did cry at the end. I didn't plan on it, but it was sad.

My friend's so funny. At the end of the movie, she blurted out "Why would she want to date a guy who just had a love affair with a doll?!" But, she's not the romantic type.
