No, but the cassette player I had at the time automatically flipped over so the thing was like an endless loop.

Also, I would go to sleep to pearl jams "ten"

aaaahhhh good point. . .so you'd probably still be awake for the first running of "Time," then it'd come back around and it'd be alarm hell.

I gotcha.

Miles Davis - Kind of Blue
Stan Getz & Joao Gilberto - Getz/Gilberto

Tons of compilations, jazz and classical...most notably...

Mozart at Midnight: A Soothing Little Night Music

Andbackstreetboysbythebackstreetboys...hopefully, I said that fast enough that nobody caught it.

I was kinda old, too!

yep.

i just load up the mp3 versions of a bunch of Pink Floyd songs--and make sure not to include Time. Either that, or I put it first on the list so the alarm clocks are over with by the time I actually get into my bed.

Money isn't a very good sleeping song, either.

I don't know about album, but I've never made it all the way through 2001: A space odyssey without falling asleep. So... the sound track to 2001: A space odyssey I guess.

Both are perfect for nighttime listening and are regulars in my rotation.

I like Explosions in the Sky but the quiet parts are too quiet to hear and the loud parts get too loud and adjusting the volume gets annoying.
