Anybody been? I'm less concerned about whether it's worth the money than whether it's scary or not. What's this thing like?!?

the jaycees haunted house is actually decent this year... compared to other years
I was contemplating the walnut creek one, but figured the weather tonight wasn't conducive to that 10/26/2007 1:23:45 AM |

I went to Silent Forest last year. I thought it was expensive for what you got. I don't know if they changed it or not...but you took a guided walk through the woods, then a guided walk through a house...then a graveyard.. the whole thing only took about 1 hour. 10/26/2007 5:51:16 AM |

I was going to go to Spooky Woods but found out they were closed. I was a little surprised. If the weather clears up tomorrow and they are open, I'm going. I just saw Spooky Woods on some america's haunted attraction thing on the travel channel. Looks good. 10/27/2007 12:17:04 AM |

it was good, I think it could have been better (i dont scare easily) but they had to reroute part of the thing because the "forest" part was underwater from Thursday and Friday's 4+ inches of rain. I think that had some to do with it.
I imagine they'll have it open after it dries out tomorrow and Monday.
they have $14 tickets for college students, $12 for Law Enforcement/Firefighters, and a $2 off standard admission coupon http://www.silentforest.org/silentforest-coupon2007.pdf 10/27/2007 10:41:38 PM |
