what's the best way to go about this? ebay?
how reliable is the equiptment?
I don't want to play on a modded xbox.. I know it works, is free, etc but it's really not the same experience at all
any tips are appreciated (I live in Chicago so I can't really buy stuff off tww classifieds) 10/29/2007 10:17:08 AM |

i'm inclined to say find the roms and emulators and get a usb controller, from a convenience standpoint. Not really the nostalgia experience, but who wants to deal with the flaky NES console-game-breathing issues. It blows my mind that Nintendo hasn't attempted to reissue old school (NES, SNES) games on new formats or for the pc. Maybe they have and I didn't notice though... 10/29/2007 12:36:43 PM |

I don't really want a wii but if that's as close as it gets that kind of sucks. iirc isn't virtual console just an emulator itself? 10/29/2007 2:07:04 PM |

Hit up Play N Trade in White Oak. They sell the FC Twin that allows you to play NES/SNES. They sell decent old games as well - depends on the day. Also, the buy two get one free can be fun. 10/29/2007 5:47:52 PM |

Update: I was in Play N Trade today and some dude traded in a shitload of NES/SNES games. They were saying that its pretty much every game made for the SNES and around 100-150 NES games. Most of the NES games were good ones too.... 10/30/2007 3:16:57 PM |
