Got this yesterday for the wii... pretty fun so far

The game mechanics are a little different from other Sims games... instead of getting a job to make money to buy stuff, you gather plants and rocks to make things. So there's more harvesting and exploration involved which is a nice change of pace.

Only gripes so far are the wii controls (scrolling through menus by tilting the nunchuck is a pain in the ass, and I'm too lazy to point and click), and the fact that you can't queue up a bunch of actions and let them go. You basically have to tell them to do everything one step at a time which gets tedious when you have to chase down the person you're trying to talk to every ten seconds.


So... anyone else playing this, or am I the only one?

i got MySims for the Wii and it sucks ass


I also got Sims:Life Stories for the PC and it kicks ass...

playing the sims is like playing with dolls.

i rented it for the wii.

didnt really like it.

maybe its because i just got guitar hero and didnt want to put it down.

i couldnt get past the first section when you are on that island.
