what are some decent hotels to stay a night in midtown atlanta?

not looking to spend $texas, but $texas - $west virginia would be ok.

courtyard by marriott

its at the corner of 14th and techwood dr.

if you wanna stay in buckhead, marriott place is awesome. 42" lcds in every room!

if you can find a deal somewhere on it- the westin peachtree plaza was AWESOME. its was certainly worth what it cost - esp. the restaurant on the top floor.

Hotel Indigo (100-150)
Georgian Terrace (130-180)

those are the two I always recommend to friends and family coming to town

Georgian is ok
I typically stay at the marriot suites midtown which can vary from 180 to 250 depending on the time of the week.

Just break for the Ritz-Carlton on Peachtree.
