Didn't see any threads on this. I've been keeping up with the shows for a couple of months now. Very interesting. Though, most of the time they don't find anything concrete, but when they do I'm inclined to think it was set up. Even so, it still peeks my curiosity.

Supposed to be a live show tonight on SciFi channel.

i've tried watching it, seen a dozen episodes are so. Basically it gets old FAST. They walk around like modern ghostbusters with electromagnetic field detectors, and super sound detectors, and it's just a bunch of them going 'SHH WHATS THAT' over and over again. It's really kind of stupid. There's moments every blue moon of something impressive, but even then it's still a stretch. YMMV

My biggest problem with the show, and I have a few, is how they repeat what they have already shown you 5 times.

They'll show them in a room and they hear something and get scared...and then go to commercial.

Then, coming back from commercial, they basically rewind the last 30 seconds or so and replay for you what you just watched, or recap what happened, etc.

It's totally 10 minutes of actual stuff to watch to every 20 minutes of fluff/group drama/advertising for Roto-Ruter, etc.

Blah. I used to watch it a bit but now it's painful to even try.

^ Haha, I agree. Let's hope they don't use that "fluff" technique tonight on the LIVE show...

i enjoy it a lot, but lately my strategy is to just dvr it and skip to the analysis. the investigation does generally boil down to over-reacting to a random noise. if there's something cool in the analysis that they actually experienced at the time, i'll rewind. it cuts an hour long show down to about 15-20 minutes.

I'm a big fan of the show. I'm even recording the 6 hour show tonight to watch throughout the week!

It may seem like a silly show, and it is. But it's pretty cool the ways they try to get evidence. It gets repetitive, too.

I am watchin' it...or least for as long as I can...6 freakin' hours is a long time for a live production like this...Jason/Grant/ECW guy have had some interesting things happen so far...and the 2 girl team seems like they are not really into being there so don't know why they even bothered showing up...

if your bread and butter was to see a ghost

you're not gonna start running away from payday in the middle of the shoot

while i can't argue with this, you would expect them to at least momentarily jump or respond the same way the as cast members do

yeah, i liked it better in season 1 when they had a single-wide trailor in Jason's backyard that they used as the investigation room.
