i guess its 3g network?

who has the best network for that and is it worth it yet?

3G on cingular/at&t is fast as hell.. check my gallery for some pics of downloading on it in greensboro. I see around 120kb/sec all the time and sometimes a bit higher. It's $50 a month if you have a voice plan with them (for unlimited data..at these speeds you want unlimited)

word if my phone is 3g compatible can i share the connection or is that another $50

yes you can... some phones are a lot easier to do it with than others. with motorola phones you can do it through motorola phone tools and with palms there is a program you can pay like $20 for that makes it ridiculously easy and will even do it over a bluetooth connection as well.. I think it's pda.net.

so, yea, basically you can.. it's called tethering
