it'll survive over the winter, just make sure when you get it planted to prune it down to 3 or so of it's main stalks and then mound up some pine bark mulch over the crown 11/1/2007 10:24:06 PM |

im gonna have some plant cuttings to get rid of in the next few weeks
since i have to bring my container plantings in from outdoors and cuttign back makes it easier to control pests
ill post pics later im kinda lazy, they are all very healthy and vigorous plants, and most are in vegetative growth phase so the cuttings will root easily and quickly
i just dont want to throw plant material away

hey chris do you have any plants that do well with low sunlight? 11/4/2007 5:47:41 PM |
ZomBCraw Suspended 6999 Posts user info edit post |
haha a majority of them do well with low light, or dont require high light intensity for anything other than maintaining foliage color
which isnt important to me really
nah i dont want no grapes, thanks tho, i have no desire to rear them

the blooms don't last very long. only like a day or two. you should prune them off when they look like that^ so new growth will come in. 6/14/2008 12:56:49 PM |

only reason i didnt already prune it was cause my neighbor said to leave it...i wanted to prune it for the new growth reason...it hasnt done much in the past week cause of this blossom i think 6/14/2008 1:03:58 PM |

you should usually prune a rose off as soon as it opens completely 6/14/2008 1:05:24 PM |
