Has anyone been to see this?

It is at the history museum until Jan 13 2008

http://ncmuseumofhistory.org/lostcolony/site/index.html

it sounds interesting to me, but they dont really describe what is in the exhibit besides saying "paintings and artifacts"

I plan on going, even though I've never been impressed with anything at the NC History Museum.

Its hit or miss. Has anyone else noticed that Michael Jordan is not in the NC Sports Hall of Fame there?

Anyway, I'll check it out if I can find if. You know being lost and all. Wow, that was really bad.

They would probably get much better attendance if they could tie it into Lost somehow.

they should do something on the growth of the triangle/state in the past 30-40 years

From what I understand it's different things from the time period (obvious, I know) clothing, maps, paintings, engravings, watercolors by John White (which is a huge deal to the people there at the museum) and such.

My mom is helping run it and I'm probably going Wednesday night to the event that they're holding

Saw it. Mostly John White stuff with very little about the lost colony.

aha, they had quite a few of the blue people. There was a woman who had star bursts on her boobs and belly button too. My mom and I wanted to know which parts were painted on and which were tattoos

For real.

I always feel bad for it... sucking so much, while sitting right next to the comparatively awesome museum of natural history.

I saw it tonight. Well worth the admission fee I paid (free).

Sorry for the rest of you.

it was alright. I wasn't very into it, but you might be if you like the time period.

I liked the gift shop, but as always, it's crazy overpriced.
