Think again. This is news to me. I knew there were different types but never having been a "tire boy" or had a truck that used Load Range "E" tires with pressures of 80 psi I didn't know the pressure ratings were different. I wonder how many trucks are riding around on low-pressure stems since Wal-mart only stocks the low-pressure ones.

yep, i had an issue with the last set of tires i put on my f350 a couple of years ago. i was going to the beach and had a blowout that took out half of the passenger side dually fender. the tire had gone down without me knowing due to a busted stem. guess what kind of stems they used... they covered the damages though. 11/6/2007 9:47:50 PM |

Damn I run "E"s on my truck. Never even thought about it. I usually only run mine @ 40 though. 11/6/2007 10:58:40 PM |
