i mean, KBB values it at 6,800...there is a minor cosmetic dent on the front and a dent on the back. you can just take the grill guard off for free...other than that, it runs like a champ

^^ probably won't get the buy it now price, realistically expecting $6000...

check Kelly Blue Book if you'd like.

KBB takes in to consideration that it has a Salvage title?

I doubt you get a single bid on ebay, this vehicle is more of a local sale type than an ebay showcase item. I had a 1997 4 Runner limited, it was one of the best cars I ever owned, great vehicle, I think your price is a little high with a salvage title.

yeah, i agree, the salvage title is a bitch. thank you for your input. I'm not in a hurry to sell it, so I can wait it out and see if someone is willing to make an offer in my price range.

don't some companies refuse to insure salvage cars? i remember not being able to drive my car because of lack of insurance after it was totaled. that would be something to look into.

good grief, give that brush guard back to the fullsize truck you took it from. also fyi, that's not going to do a damn thing against even a small deer, much less a moose.

No, you won't get that either. I'm not trying to bust your balls but be realistic. Get a quote for fixing all that damage, factor in a bit more because of the salvage title and a few hundred more for the pain in the ass of somebody having to fix everything and you'll be more in the ball park. I would expect around $4500 for it at most

Take off 1/3 for the salvage title = $3809. Might as well knock off another $500 for the tailgate...More if the front bumper is damaged too. I think you'd do well to put it on Craigslist for $4k and hope for the best.

And take that ridiculous brush guard off and toss it in a dumpster somewhere. Even the most retarded 16 year old couldn't be convinced that thing looks good.

Has the brush guard been smashed or does it really fit like that? It looks like it was made for a full size pickup.

1) yes, the grill guard obviously doesn't fit the car, as I said, I didn't put it on there...
2) I agree with the points made above, I know $6,000 is very optimistic
3) current high bid is $4,200

thank you all, you are the best

Yeah man, sorry if I sounded harsh. I really do believe you'd do better to just toss the grill guard (hoping it's not welded on!) and go from there. The salvage title and dented tailgate really won't phase some buyers and you can't really do too much about them, but the brush guard can probably be gone in like 15 minutes with a socket wrench. Just something to consider if eBay doesn't work out for ya.

sold for 5,500 this weekend, had to hold out for a couple of weeks, but some high schooler now has a pretty good high school car....

goes to show 1) know the value of your product, 2) be patient, and 3) tww will always lowball everything/overly criticize (i.e. getting hung up on a removable grill guard and ignoring important items such as engine condition, etc)

thanks to the Skaaks/Garfus99's of the world that actually provided constructive advice
