Post any really good deals you find on buying HD DVD's or HD DVD players. This way we don't get the two threads fucked up again with debates and its easier to find the format you are looking for.

So far the only deal I'm aware of is the mail-in rebate for 5 free movies. Haven't seen any BF ads yet pertaining to HD DVD's though.

I really enjoyed syriana. And i really enjoy troy beacuse its on HD with massive battles wasn't a bad movie the first 2 times through...gets old after a while unlike the gladiator of the genre.

I think its only select HD-DVDs, according to the DVDTalk thread...although some of them are pretty recent releases, so who knows.

Those are the ones pictured in the ad, but it doesn't say that it only applies to those movies. It says "HD DVDs Buy 2 Get One FREE (of equal or lesser value. purchases must be on same receipt)"

They've got the same deal on Blu-Ray, but only a couple of Blu-Ray discs are pictured.

I got in on the bb.com deal a couple of weeks ago for an HD-A3 Toshiba player. And the reality is that I am just not going to use it at all. If anyone wants to buy it from me, you can have it for $125. It has been opened, but only just to connect it and see what it looked like (looks great). The only deal for HD-DVD is if you bought it within 90 days from wal-mart, so you can return it. Take that sh*t back and buy a PS3 with Blu Ray.

Ps3 equals value, Game system and a Blu Ray player all for $400... Hardly comparable to toshibas $300 HDDVD sh*t box.
