nobodys talking about this. tickets are only 15 per session or 90 for the whole thing. will wolfpackers takeover? would be nice to go to universal over break.

It will more than likely be Nova in the final...

And we will hopefully beat Scottie Reynolds and show him why he should have came here.

I cringe at thinking about him being on our team this year at guard.

We recruited Reynolds? You sure you're not thinking back a ways about Nardi?

You're probably right, I just don't remember us recruiting him..

[Edited on November 15, 2007 at 1:36 PM. Reason : i thought we were not very serious with him with Chris Wright coming the following year]

This is going to be the Beastly/Hickson invitational. These guys are identicle but Beastly gets all the press.. Great chance for Hickson to steal the spotlight.

"7. Old Spice Classic, Orlando, Fla., Nov. 22-23 and 25

The competition: Central Florida, George Mason, Kansas State, North Carolina State, Penn State, Rider, South Carolina and Villanova
Tourney synopsis: Some intriguing sleepers here. Mason is the CAA favorite again. K-State is a Big 12 dark horse, with frosh Michael Beasley inside. N.C. State has some ACC buzz working. And Villanova has three excellent guards again. Plus the host, UCF, was a C-USA surprise last season.

Not sure if you are doing it on purpose or not, but the K-State dude's name is Beasley. Calling him Beastly on accident or even intentionally is gay.

oh yeah. probably more important since if the crowd can help spur the team on to victory, then that means bowl, and a bowl means lots of money for the school. perhaps that money could help go to building that indoor practice facility. also it would be great to have Merryland not go to a bowl for the 3rd time in 4 years. i hate Maryland so much! Kansass State seemed to have brought a nice crowd. Also it's still a young tournament being only in its second year. It doesn't have the hype that Maui, Preseason NIT, etc. have. Maui is always packed not just b/c it's a great travel destination, or b/c it always has good teams, but b/c they play in the Lahaina Civic Center, which is like a large high school gym since it only has a capacity of 2,400. The Milk House with a capacity of 5,000 is over double the size of the Lahaina Civic Center. The Milk House is supposed to be a good place to watch a game b/c there isn't a bad seat in the house. The highest row in The Milk House is only 35 feet off the ground.

I think by next year this pre-season tournament will really take off. Have you seen the competition they will have next year?

Here's what the 2008 field looks like:
2008: Gonzaga, Maryland, Memphis, Michigan State, Oklahoma State, Siena, Tennessee, and Wichita State
