Which one? I tried the one off Ch. Hill Rd this summer & I've been meaning to go back. The owner was so nice/friendly.

The one on Hillsborough St.

The owner is buddies with my dad so I think he would have felt guilty not giving it to me.

I don't have working experience at a full time job like this one, that's what I meant. I do work weddings regularly as a photographer, and over the years I have worked knife shows. But this will bring in my first regular paycheck.

neomonde has great food. are you going for some sort of management track? or just a job to keep you busy while you look around for something in your degree?

durr-de-durr, I'm on TWW and I'm going to criticize people for having a job

either because I deem the job to be not prestigious enough or because it is in the wrong field... or because you don't have enough experience

cause I suck

In my degree, lol. That's a blast.

Actually I have been submitting applications and resumes constantly for the past few months (ever since I graduated actually) and haven't found anything because I'm underexperienced and can't work Saturdays (bad for retail jobs) due to my photography. I like the Neomonde Deli because it's close, it's friendly, and laid-back. My sister's moving in with us and I don't get along with her very well, and being at a job is also essential to just being out of the house the majority of the time. It couldn't have come at a better time because she's moving in in about two weeks.

I shouldn't be bragging anyway but I'm just so fucking excited!

But, just out of curiosity, what did you get your degree in?

History. Short of going for an advanced degree (ain't happenin any time this year) or get a teaching position (would have to have gotten a teaching history degree), I could possibly work as a curator at a museum. >.<

why wouldnt you want to work as a curator? i'd think that would be cool.

anyhow, gratz on your new job. i know it must be exciting. I'm starting a new job after thanksgiving, myself. theres always that initial rush. dont worry, it will pass and you'll become cynical soon enough

Not so sure how one hooks one's friend up, but I'd be glad to see some friendly faces every once in a while.

no you can still get into teaching. you can do a teacher's certification, or do lateral entry. here is something to get you started if you are interested:

I went there on memorial day weekend and while I was waiting on my food some fat bitch came in cussed out an employee because he made her roommate cry.

I really wanted to punch her.

^^ its unfortunate that when the owner of a business dies, the entire business is buried with him.

it would be better if, say, ownership might pass onto a relative, friend or business associate. sort of like a "will" or something.

i havent worked out all the details yet, but i'm thinking it would have to be sort of a legal type arrangement. god i wish i had completed law school....
