having your shit stolen is one thing, but having windows broken has to suck completely.

I wish they knew how to pick locks so they wouldn't have to break the fucking window.

they destroyed my dashboard trying to get my cd player out, but couldn't. ripped out my glovebox, did a bunch of other small shit.

and to add insult to injury, they took the faceplate for my cd player......but as I said, couldn't get the cd player out.

WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU GOING TO DO WITH A FACEPLATE MAN? HUH? THAT SHIT WON'T WORK!

there were about 4 other cars broken into in my complex last night.
I really need to move. I already put in notice to the apartment complex to break my lease. I told them that if they have any problems with me breaking my lease early (referencing a prior break in), they can contact my lawyer. I gave them his business card.

that's why i always make my stuff sort of easy to get out

i see it as:

it's cheaper to replace electronic stuff than an entire leather dashboard

and if they've already broken in to your car, it's not like you're going to stop them from taking/destroying something

yeah, I have comprehensive + supplemental to cover anything in my car added after market. The deduct. is $150 or $200 or something.

but I'm probably just going to get the window fixed (monday. thank God it's not going to rain this weekend). Then fix everything else myself, but leave the major stuff for after I move. There's no sense in getting it all professionally repaired if there's a strong possibility that it will get broken into again and damaged.

ahaha, I took everything of value out already!!1

I'm debating taping a sign to the window reading "hahahaha, the door is unlocked! There's nothing inside. If you want to break in to practice, plz 2 not break teh window again!!1"

mine almost got broken into a week ago, EMCE, down off Indian River Rd. while I was inside the bar. A cop was in the area and saw the guy, so he wasn't able to break the window.

he DID pop the window off track, and that cost 160 to have it reset and have a new regulator put in.

yes.

but he's basically a vagrant type

so insurance will cover it.

but he doesn't have shit, so no use trying to take it from him.

it will.

i got the chassis of a CD player (the part that the face plate attaches to) from work one day, i work with wrecked cars, and the face plate was no where to be found.

i actually picked one up for $50 on ebay.

the CD player was a $250 player when it was on the market.

keep an eye out on ebay in the next few weeks.

even if you dont find yours, you might be able to find a faceplate.
