nbc has the flex schedule thing going for the rest of the year on sunday nights

if they have the rights (meaning that if cbs/fox/abc doesn't have the rights to claim any of their games outright) i see no reason why nbc wouldn't just schedule the patriots for every remaining sunday night game while they're still undefeated

going for the record, it's going to be nothing but ratings, even if they are repeated blowouts

and make no mistake, i hate the patriots and their collective fucking guts, but why not

toward the end of the year, if the pats are say, 13-0 and beyond, i have to believe the ratings would be nuts, even compared to the cowboys and their drawing power

^ When they played the Bills a couple weeks ago it was a close game the whole time and Buffalo only pulled ahead with a couple minutes left. Sure, neither team had an offense at all, couldn't execute worth ten cents, and would've probably lost to the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League, but hey, it was 13-10, so that means it was an AWESOME game!

Just cause games are close doesn't mean they're good games. It's not necessarily good competition, it's just mediocrity.

The Patriots are a great team. The majority of NFL teams are mediocre. When mediocrity meets great, mediocre gets destroyed.
