I bought one of these the other day because the price was too hard to pass up. Yesterday, I went into BB to check it out, and the picture was clearly the worst out of all the other 50" plasmas. Do you think it is worth the lesser picture quality in exchange for the price I got it for ( about 1,000)?

I can just not pick this up from the store and they will refund me my money.

well as a big TV noob, ive heard from people that if you dont really want to do research, which you should, you should stick to the few big name TVs.

its not the best advice, but you are most likely not gonna get burned. i dont know much about hitachi though

$1000 for a 50" plasma? not that much of a deal considering black friday and that yahoo news said prices are suppose to drop [i think] by a third within the next few months.
