If you're not constantly working in bright areas, glossy is fine. I just got a new laptop with a glossy screen and I really like it. 11/23/2007 11:52:36 AM |

Glossy is fine for a desktop monitor, but for a laptop I suggest getting matte. It's nearly impossible to use a glossy LCD in bright light. Glossy does seem to look a little bit nicer, but it doesn't really improve anything beyond an aesthetic feel. 11/23/2007 11:59:18 AM |
