i thought about making this thread last night.

I personally can not even watch football night in america. i tried to last night b/c i wanted to see a few highlights of some games i missed and had to mute it until they came on. I cringe when Keith Olbermann begins speaking, he is just so annoying and this whole trying to be witty with historical references and shit like that, goddamn shut up.

when he made that remark at halftime about how if AJ Feeley beat Tom Brady it would have as much an impact as Francis Ouimet winning the US Open back in 1913 i almost vomitted in my mouth. Keith Olbermann is nothing but a hack with a diarrhea mouth.

I really tried to give Olberman a chance, but damn if i don't want to hit the guy in the head with a hammer now.

And I agree, Football Night in America has grown to unwatchable status. I can't even watch Costas on that show, who's one of the best in the biz. I don't know how they did it, but NBC found a way to fuck up something nearly indestructible -- football highlights.

But NFL Primetime with just Berman and TJ every Sunday from 7:30 to 8:30 was my favorite show on TV.

For all the shit Berman gets, he is still the master at football highlights.

^^I definitely agree. Berman was put on this earth to do one thing and one thing only: football highlights. I miss some NFL Primetime. 'The Blitz' just doesn't cut it
