holy shit, when i went to bed last night they had just said he was finally responding and that the doctors had said his outlook was much better.

and how the hell does it get more coverage when he was in the hospital, and he dies and i don't hear a word? just weird i guess.

RIP, shitty way to go. and it sucks that ESPN would rather bash ricky williams for smoking fucking pot and dropping a ball in the rain than report on a murdered player.

I think its really sad. The guy really did have a pretty dangerous past thought and was with the wrong crowd from what I've heard. He was an awesome player for the Redskins, and a real up and coming safety that could have really been a great, great player. He never even hit his prime.

He was still one of the best safeties, especially this year - even with the injury. He was a trouble maker until he had his daughter, then he grew up. He hasn't gotten in an trouble recently.

Question... Why do you guys think he was murdered?

Treetwista is in sportstalk saying it was because he was getting into some "thug shit"

I doubt it was over some "thug shit"

I'm gonna go check out some media outlets and blogs and try to see what's really goin on.

I'm just saying, it's unfair to say it's some "thug shit" just because he fucked up a few times in the past.

I've made my fair share of mistakes also, but I definitely cleaned my act up.

my post in other section:

It was probably someone from his OLD life who didn't want to see him succeed as he was doing.

Sean Taylor cleaned up his act, you could see it on the field - he was voted by veterans into a leadership position on the team - everyone could see the changes.

I don't think it was random, I also don't think it was him being involved in some "thug shit"

The NFL is full of "thugs"

The fact that Redskins VETERANS saw such a change that they voted him into leadership positions on the team says a lot.

haters keep hating though, that's something that will never change

^^^the "teammates voted him into leadership position" argument is pretty useless here.

Ray lewis is also a team leader

and in the NBA. Stephen Jackson was voted by his teammates as a leader for the Warriors, and he always gets in trouble.

i feel like he got caught up with the wrong people, but he didnt deserve what happened either. RIP

i dont think anybody is making fun of his death or taking anything away from what he could do on the field

its just the people who have seen this story play out many times before are calling a spade a spade, since the shoe does fit, but you have these other people like "oh my baby could never do anything bad"...they're the ones in denial

but feel free to continue bashing me for going with probability

if anyone here watches "the first 48" you know that they follow lots of recent miami murders... and now that this guy has passed it could very well appear on the show. which would be interesting since thats like my favorite show on tv

it was obviously a planned murder

a week earlier someone broke in and left a knife on his bed

probably someone from his past before he cleaned up his act

I'm thinking it was either a set up by his baby's mother/girlfriend (she really has a lot to gain - plus multiply that times 100 if he was cheating), or it had something to do with the scuffle he got in 2 years ago over the ATVs.

Anyway, LOTS of people are sporting Sean Taylor jerseys up here, and this shit is bumming lots of people down.

Ive never been a Sean Taylor fan, but anytime someone so young is killed while doing nothing wrong its a terrible thing.

I hope they fry the guy that did this.

2pac's killer is dead

Orlando Anderson was murdered less than a year after 2pac died

Plus, the Redskins, fans, family, etc... are puttin together a shitload of cash right now for the reward
