with that said, ESPN just announced that Izzo's benching Marquise Gray and Tom Herzog for violating team rules. Apparently they never showed up for morning practice because they accidently slept in. Izzo was quoted saying that "I am dissappointed in [Marquise and Tom] for showing a lack of responsibility. NC State is playing well, and setbacks like this doesn't help us prepare. We've been watching a lot of tape from [NC State's] recent tournament, but I'm not sure why Gavin makes an X with his arms."
