^x5 AFC has changed a lot. They've made the computer lab smaller and it's by no means quiet. There's usually a bunch of people in the lounge playing video games and making noise.

Yeah, you're better off studying at home with the TV and radio on rather than going to the library this time of the semester. It sucks.

AFC is a little smaller. They took out all the Unix computers from last year and moved all the Windows machines over to make room for a new office they put in near the front entrance. It's not really any smaller, they just took out all the Unix machines that no one used anyway. The area with the vending machines is hit or miss. If there's no black girls in there it's actually pretty nice.

Just go up to the 6th or 7th floor stacks. I had to study up there because I was easily distractable in the busy parts and in the apartment... Now I can study anywhere thank God...

you can study in the library if you go to one of the high floors in the corners.

no one talks. and if they do you just tell them to take it somewhere else.

my freshmen year me and my bestfriend would put two of those desks corner to corner and our backs against the wall and block our selfs out from the rest of the world, every now and then the security guard would come by to make sure we were okay, but other than that it allowed for a very quiet distraction free time.

yeah, I stay away from the main areas of the library when I'm trying to study, and lately even the top of the stacks (7-9) seem to be consistantly crowded.

I've moved down to the middle of the stack.
