Officially the most boring, dull, shittiest month of the year. I can not think of anything fun or redeeming about the month that would put it ahead of any of the others.
- Start of the Cold season. Got 3 months of freezing my ass off to look forward too. - at least the other cold months have snow potential - Daylight bottoms out. Daylight savings time ends. - Nothing sucks more then driving home from work at 6 pm in the dark. - Shitty xmas music by the end of the month - seems like everyone is in hibernation b.c of the end of semester deadlines and the cold - no exciting sports playoffs except maybe last few games of world series - thanksgiving food sucks

please provide me details out of curiosity.
I give december a bump ahead of february and january solely b.c of the final week Dec 25th-Dec 31st (xmas=presents, 28th= bday, 31= new years eve one of my fav holidays)
i'd probably rank the months starting from best->worst
May, September, October, July, June, March (at least until graduation when no longer have spring break, and college parties), April, August, December, January, February, Novermber (by a wide margin)11/29/2007 9:56:50 PM |

SO
tuesday i went out with a harpist
it went horribly
her "god, xxxx (radiostation) has begun playing christmas music already!! it's awesome!" me" you know what's the only thing worse than christmas music?" her [looks confused] me "AIDs... that's it.. fuck christmas music"
she got up and left then
after she left, i realized she was ewearig a necklace that was supposed to resemble christmas tree lights, and that she probably makes a pretty good peice of her living off of playing christmas songs
ahh well she sucked]11/29/2007 10:03:49 PM |

I've never even met a harpist
Seems like there wouldn't be much demand for professional harpists 11/29/2007 10:05:04 PM |

Here's how it goes:
May (beginning of summer, but not too fuckin hot) December (school break, x-mas, parties, new years, etc.) August (my birthday, optimism about the beginning of the school year) March (spring break, St. Patrick's Day) October (Halloween, Cornhuskin' week) September June July April (exams, studying) February (Valentine's day) November (exam studying) January (cold, dreary, boring) 11/29/2007 10:41:16 PM |

I can't figure out if fat people like cold weather b.c
a. they feel self conscious exposing skin during the summer b. their fat acts as insulation so a brisk December high of 50* feels like 70. c. thanksgiving, xmas, and xmas parties during the time allows plenty of opportunity to gorge themselves w/ food w/o feeling guilty.
^ see i rate Jan above Nov. b.c of the same back to school optimism/partying. New years kicks ass. NFL post-season; and snow potential. Aug in my list would be lower if not for the back to school excitement. I enjoy summer weather but usually by Aug i get tired of 90* everyday and rdy for a slight cool off.

^ I don't think it's necessarily true that fat people like cold weather.
I'm not skinny, and I hate being cold. It's probably one of my worst pet peeves. I keep the house at about 80 deg in the summer 11/29/2007 10:46:18 PM |

same here 80* feels great to me. As long as their's a fan giving a breeze it doesn't bother me while sleeping either. 11/29/2007 10:47:09 PM |
