has anyone rented with this management company? how was/is your experience?
i've noticed that they manage a lot of apartment complexes around raleigh, and they have pretty good ratings on apartmentratings.com.
basically i want to make sure they aren't another preiss company.

i've lived at one of their properties and had friends who have moved to other properties just to live in a complex that is managed by D&F (the other complex had been bought and the management was turned over to someone else). D&F offered her a discount and paid for the truck to help her move actually. very nice, pet friendly, good apt managers (which is very hard to find).

I lived in Dutch Village for a year in college and I think it was a DF managed place. They site manager there was always very friendly and we never had any real problems or issues.

I rented from them in VA for a couple months. The apartment was old, but they had fixed it up so it was decent (except the ceiling creaked when the people upstairs walked). As for the management part, I don't have any complaints. In what little interaction I had with the office, they were very accommodating.

I live in Pine Winds. I like it, but rent is pretty high. The management is nice, but they've been around since before D&F took over. Sometimes they complain about having to push things through corporate to get things done, but it eventually happens.

My uncle used to live at Stonehenge, which is a D&F complex. I liked everything I ever saw there.

He is, and has been for a very long time (almost 20 years now), on their maintenance crew. When they tell you they keep folks on call on weekends and holidays, they mean it. He used to get pulled away from family stuff all the time

I lived @ Shellbrook Apts off of Millbrook for 4 years witch is D&F managed and was very pleased with them.

the complex i'm looking at has a 92% positive rating for drucker & falk.
it's a little more expensive than similar places and where i am now, but it would be worth it for a nicer experience.

i live in an apt complex they manage. awesome staff, great groundskeepers, and overall great place to live, considering the complex is very old. they are all very prompt and do what they say they are going to do.
ditto on the a/c system; i hate mine but they won't replace it; have had problems with it, but they always fix it, just won't get me a new one, although it probably should be replaced.

I think they run Sumter Square. I was happy with my time there. I think atleast another 10 or more people who've lived there use tww.
