I can't log on with trillian... or rather it says I'm connected yet none of my buddies is online and to them I appear offline. I've tried reinstalling it. Anyone else having trouble?

PS... if you are going to berate me for using an archaic program or something, please suggest a suitable alternative.

no problems for me at home or at work

when ever that happens to me I just go to disconnect and then reconnect and it always works for me.
