Not arguing that. (or were you talking to the '80s guy?)

Might go see it myself depending on ticket prices.

their show in charlotte in october sucked ass from what i heard. same with the show in greensboro. i heard a lot of people say that dave sounded like shit and the bands timing was very off. but i wasn't there so take it for what it is worth.

i think there is some video of both shows on youtube

I could not disagree with this more.

The G'boro show was a ton of fun. the band sounded great and the atmosphere was amazing. Much much better than I expected.

I love Van Halen--always have and always will--and I've got tickets to the RBC Center show. But check out this performance of "Jump":

Damn. Van Halen is a fuckton better than that--or at least they used to be.

i would much rather see them at an outdoor venue.

Performances just don't sound right in the RBC center

I saw AC/DC at the RBC center and it was pretty damn good. Maybe it's just the band.

FUUUUUUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!

Sources: Van Halen Tour Not Being Canceled

Quote :
"Despite reports to the contrary, sources with Van Halen tell Billboard the band's tour is not being canceled, though tonight's (March 3) scheduled show at the American Airlines Center in Dallas has been postponed and rescheduled for April 24.

Three other dates have been postponed while Eddie Van Halen undergoes medical tests: Cincinnati (March 5) is rescheduled for April 22; Raleigh, N.C. (March 7) is rescheduled for April 13; and Baltimore (March 9) is rescheduled for April 15. The source says the outing picks up on March 11 in Charlottesville, Va. Tickets for the scrapped dates will be honored at the new shows.

Van Halen, who has battled cancer and substance abuse, 'is undergoing a battery of comprehensive medical tests to determine a defined diagnosis and recommended medical procedures,' reads a statement from the group's management. No further details were given."

tickets range from 50-150

yes there are tickets still available...since it will be the 3rd attempt at showing up, many people had sold their tickets back after the first 2 postponements

there's a ridiculous mind boggling 6 minute drum solo and also Eddie delivers the best guitaring ive ever heard (but i havent been to many concerts so take that for what its worth)

I just got back from the show a little while ago. It was great!

Michael Anthony's vocals, playing, energy, and bass solo were missed. But it's a relatively minor point.

I saw Van Halen in the early '80s, and if they've lost any musical ability due to aging--if they have, it ain't much--the loss is more than compensated for with their sobriety. Great show!
