i pretty much have one one me at all times once it gets below 60 degrees. i have one on my bed thats cranked up to 10 (the highest setting) and one on the couch as well

my friend has one that plugs into the car-- i'm not quite at that point yet but i'd be lying if i said i haven't considered it

one time our power bill was 400 bucks in the winter time because the house was so crappy that. but the next month we didnt even turn on the heat casue we were poor and you would be watching tv and you could see your breath. needless to say i lived under an electric blanket all winter
