A virtual world with real/virtual people able to congregate, communicate, have virtual meetings, trips, wars, etc. There will be homes, stadiums, race tracks, whores, oh yes there will be whores, maybe not yet but its inevitable. this is the future. this is second life.

^^actually this is for business purposes primarily, it can actually be very usefull
you could have a vitual building where many different presentations are going on, or you can have distance eduction where people could feel like they are in the same class 12/6/2007 11:46:39 AM |

^^email and TWW can be useful...but they also slowly "encourage" anti-social behavior by allowing people to do all types of things without having to directly interact with people 12/6/2007 11:48:41 AM |

"i tend to believe that people are more true to themselves on a message board. there are rarely any repercussions, so they can be who they are, which most of the time is very ugly people." -AxlBonBach 12/6/2007 11:51:32 AM |

You do realize that the business side of Second Life has been all but solidified as an absolute failure, right? Pretty much every single company that has dumped (wasted) money setting anything up on there has reaped almost no return on their investment. 12/6/2007 12:33:23 PM |

Virtual sex for the win. As Kurzweil says, it'll be as good as or better than the real thing. Most likely better.12/6/2007 2:22:01 PM |
