Yeah, I actually do it that way also. When I try putting the right arm on top it just isn't comfortable. Weird.

I read that about 90% of right-handed people cross their left arm over their right

I am in the 10% that does not

when i do it with right over left, the whole setup just feels weak and flimsy.

left over right is like a brick wall.

^
interesting, definitely supports my hypothesis that it's a right handed thing.

any word on the way left handed peoples cross their arm?

I just noticed: When I go left-over-right, my left hand naturally falls under the upper part of my right arm, and my right hand naturally rests on top/against of the upper part of my left arm. When I go right-over-left, my right hand naturally tries to rest on top/against of the upper part of my left arm, and my left hand still tries to go under my right upper-arm, resulting in basically putting my left arm against my chest and then covering it with my right arm. This is why it feels so weak and flimsy. If I put effort into the right-over-left cross and make a proper arm-cross (as I do naturally with left-over-right), it feels just as comfortable... only a little unnatural.

This shit is like science.

I'm right-handed and I do right over left. Otherwise, it's REALLY uncomfortable.

i do this too, but it depends on why i'm crossing my arms to begin with.

if it's for a picture/pose then i do it with my had open on my bicep.

if i'm cold and crossing my arms for heat, i make a fist and tuck my arm under my bicep.

I do it exactly like the guy in the gray jacket (is that Ving Rhames?). Right-over-left cross, left hand braced against right bicep. And I'm right-handed. 10% represent.

I thought it told you which hand you use.

Like if you clasp your hands together, right handed people will have their right thumb on top.
