it sucks. I'm in chicago now and I'll be working in the suburbs for at least a few months. granted, I commuted in NC (cary to RTP) but the NC commute is almost a joke compared to this shit. anyone else have to deal with some city commuting?

I used to commute from Smithfield to Raleigh every day. Commuting to the Park from Raleigh or Cary pales in comparision. Seriously...it sucked rocks.

So basically, fuck all that noise.

Lived outside of DC for a couple years before moving back down here... now that shit sucks. My commute wasn't bad because I was going in the opposite direction of traffic, but if I wanted to get anywhere else it was a nightmare.

~ $550 / month train+parking+subway

Closing on a new condo early January in Jersey City, that'll cut my commute to 20 min each way

i do Fayetteville to Raleigh and back everyday = approx. 2.5-3 hours of driving
