Before exams start, how much do you tell yourself you're going to study?

How much do you really study?

I told myself I'd work on my big history paper all weekend, study for my MEA exam yesterday and today, study for German today and tomorrow, etc...

Reality: Watched football all day yesterday and worked on the paper some, finished it today, gonna start studying for that exam tonight... ugh.

If I plan to study for 5 hours, I will instead frantically flip through pages in the book or notes starting about 30 minutes before I have to leave for the exam.

I'll usually say to myself that I'll sit down, ignore all distractions, and just study for a day or two before the exam. In reality, I'll wind up cramming the night before and do a little bit of last-minute cramming right before the exam. I only have to know this shit long enough to get it down on the test, right?

Aha

Which German are you in? I might can help with that

I said I'd study today, tomorrow, and some of wednesday for my statistics exam Wednesday evening...then that got moved to this past Friday, so I got ~3-4hrs in on that.

I said I was gonna study yesterday (but not all day) for my knitting exam that was this morning - logged ~1.5hrs, which would have been ~1.75 if I hadn't run out of time. Turned out to be a perfect amount.

I'm not studying at all for an exam tomorrow that I don't even know yet if I have to go to yet.

For MEA 130, I'll probably start studying Sunday evening.

I'm taking finals PY 212 and BUS 225 for incompletes I got over the summer. I'll start watching the lectures for BUS 225 tomorrow I'll just take the buttfucking for PY 212

This is pretty much me, and not just for finals, either.

ahhh its nice not to be a student anymore.

back in the day though as an industrial engineering major i would unfortunately study for at least 1 - 2 days if not longer for any exam. i used to try to cram when i started school and would always spaz out and not study at all and flunk. learned i had to give myself lots of time and lock my sorry ass in the library until early in the morning.

the capocinos in dh hill are quite nice.

I live by one rule: procrastinate procrastinate and procrastinate some more. :beatup

And not having an exam til thursday doesn't help.

i never was the 5hr studier for finals or any exam, I would always get distracted and end up doing something else...that might of helped in the long run, study a bit, get distracted and do something else, then go back.
