SO I have a brand new HP 1020 printer with new toner and it was fine until today, now it just prints out blank pages,

I reinstalled my drivers and performed an online driver test and everything seems to be in fine working order,

my usb cable is connected correctly and my printer powers on fine and there is no way the toner is bad since its brand new and it works fine a couple days ago,


so HELP......

i'm not sure what the "online driver test" is, but right click on the printer icon in your control panel printer settings window and select print test page from the properties window

report back if it works or not


It probably won't work. When it doesn't work, refer to your printer manual and see how they force a test print page from the hardware itself (for example, hold paper feed button while powering on or something like that)

If that doesn't work, your printer hardware itself is probably busted. If it does work, you got something f'ed up in the computer software or cables somehow


Also, the internet seems to think that a complete windows reinstall will fix the problem
