why? is it for the candy? to me that makes as much sense as osama bin laden celebrating "Independence day" for the fireworks.
halloween has always been a celebration of slutty girls in skanky costumes. if you dont like but still want to celebrate, no fear, you still have thanksgiving and new years.

My church back home objected (and still objects) to the occult theme revolving around the holiday and encouraged members not to participate. Instead they held a "Hallelujah Night", where kids were encouraged the dress as Bible characters. One year I won first place after I dressed up and told the entire history behind King David. Most Christians celebrate Halloween because it's a fun opportunity for kids to dress up and have fun. Long ago rational people realized that sometimes having fun is just having fun and the only evil present on a given day is that which you add yourself. 12/12/2007 12:02:01 PM |
