Your ancestors were obviously running, walking, and hiking more than pushing themselves up and off the ground.

not everyone has the ability to grow nice legs though. its tough for some people. i jogged one day and my quads are flexing on their own now.

soooo, what does your split look like? I'm trying to determine if this is some sort of full-body thing

first of all, ditch the higher reps....go with a push/pull and legs split

Monday-push/pull
tuesday-quads, biceps
wed - off
thursday - push/pull
friday - hamstrings
sat/sun - off

Monday:
Flat or Incline BB Bench 5x5
DB Flat or Incline 2-3x8-10
T-Bar Rows 5x5
Deadlifts 3x10-12

Tuesday:
OH Squat (warm-up with bar)
Front Squat 5x5
Back Squat 2-3x10-12
Hammer Curls 5x5

Thursday:
Standing OH Press 5x5
Power Cleans 3x8
Push Jerks 2x10
Weighted Chins or Pull-ups 5x5
pulldowns or chins 3x8-10

Friday:
Goodmornings 3x8
Deadlift 5-5-5-3-3-2-5(only working set)
BB Lunges 3x8-10
Weighted dips 5x5
Close Grip Bench 2-3x8-10

EAT and do that...your lifts and size will go up

^^ i'm just starting back again. so my split is like this:

back
chest
biceps
calves
--------------
shoulders
triceps
legs
abs
---------------

in between I'll have full cardio days. for now i'm just doing one major excersize and then i'll add more. i'll follow this routine for about 6 weeks. just to get the cobwebs out. then i'll try some of the stuff you listed.
