i couldn't remember the other dog's name, so i looked it up. there's a page about all the president's pets. sadly, their dog spot passed not too long ago. not that i ever heard about that dog in the last 7 years.

when exactly did the White House get into the business of making short comedical clips?

It seems there is a pattern of it happening right around the end of a second term. Clinton pulled this shit too. Regan was probably affected enough by the Alzheimers that it wouldn't have turned out good by that time.
