I just sold my 1995 Maxima with 135,000 miles, to Car Max. Check Engine light was on (injector issues), AC wasn't working, leather seats were split, current minor body damage (been in three wrecks), small/medium vac. leak, needed new brakes and tires, and a few more other problems went along with it. The car hardly made it there, but they offered me $750.00 for the car. Not a bad place to sell a car.

Well I sold them my 89 Toyota Supra (nonturbo) with 170k, a gutted interior, and a spun bearing (rod knocking like hell) for $250. The guy told me I would have gotten significantly more if I had full interior... no mention of rod knock at all

^^I didn't buy anything from them. The maxima was my 2nd car. I loved having a second car as a daily driver and winter car. I have a 2002 IS300 but I have already put over 100K on it. Soon enough I will be in the market for a second cheap ride.
