This is the Optoma HD70 720p native HD projector. Using DLP DarkChip2 processing, this projector produces an amazing image from any source (Blu Ray, HD cable, HD DVD, etc) The projector is capable of displaying both 1080i and 1080p signals, and the images from those resolutions are fantastic as well.

The projector and screen have been gently used and are in new condition. The projector has about 850/2000 hrs used on the original bulb, but is covered under a fully transferable 4 year all-inclusive warranty from Circuit City that covers everything from bulb replacement to any repairs. The warranty typically runs $250 on its own, and may have gone up in price since this projector has skyrocketed in popularity over the last few months, but is included here and will be transferred when the purchase is made. (Warranty will be transferred immediately upon purchase)

The projector has 1 HDMI input, 1 Component Video input, 1 VGA input, and 1 composite video input, allowing it to handle any source you're using.

Read nearly any reputable review you'd like, and they all place the HD70 among the best value projectors under $1500, and when you see the quality images it produces, its not hard to see why. The colors really pop off the screen, especially with the included screen (Panoview Grey Wolf II, 92"), which is grey-toned to enhance black levels and contrast, as well as being glass-beaded and having a black border, which focuses your eyes on the image with no distraction.

The screen itself (Panoview Grey Wolf II, 92") has the features mentioned, and is a 16:9 aspect ratio, manual pull down screen that looks truly beautiful when hung.

Asking $875

Well you may be able to get it new for that price, but you'll only have the standard manufacturer's warranty (the extended one for Optoma costs around 250-300...feel free to correct that number), and tha'd be the only way to get a warranty on the projector (aside from buying one at a retail store)

Without a warranty, the projector is just fine...but once the bulb goes, that's an easy $250-400 you'll spend on a single replacement bulb, not to mention any costs if you can't replace the bulb on your own.

Mine still has over 3 years left on the warranty, which covers everything that could go wrong with the projector (besides theft)

I'm not certain on how much the screen I'm including retails for now, but when I bought it from Tiger Direct, it was $250, and is a much higher quality screen than some cheaply made matte white screen they normally throw into deals like that.

I could go down to $800, but that's as low as I can go considering what's included

I wish, I'm actually dumping off my whole home theater system at the moment....a true 1080p projector that's actually worth the money runs about $3500 (Specifically the JVC RS1 or RS2)

(the upgrade wouldnt be worth it at the price 1080p projectors run if you upgrade to one that has 1080p but has shitty brightness, sub-par black level performance, etc....at that price level, I'd go for the top end or just stick in the 720p/1080i range)
