We just set up a multitrack practice environment and these are two of the rough demo's recorded with the new setup. no effects of consequence have been added, with minimal editing.

I'm using
Sonar 7 Producer's Edition
Pentium 4 HT 2.9 Ghz
1GB of PC3200 DDR
ATI X800XL AGP 256MB 256 Bit
80GB @ 10k RPM
Mackie mixing board
Shure Mics

Any ideas on how I can improve the sound would be appreciated, since we are transitioning from direct in with Midi Drums to mic'ing everything, I am sure we have a ways to go before we can call this good. For now I just want to get everything sounding like it should.

Ben

^I'm using a Zoom G2 through a Marshall for guitar distortion.
not really - we have used them [midi drums] for about 4 years, and hate them at this point - they only make one sound, at different volumes. that's why we are using real drums...and the snare drum - haha Bryan was dying without a rimshot!
