i started workin with them Junior year in HS, i have a great time every time i do.

Joel and Andrew (the guys runnin the Decon) are some of the chillest guys you'll ever meet. once all of the "community volunteers" leave, they let you do whatever the fuck you want.

i singlehandedly tore down a chimney and felt damn proud of myself. they gave me a 20lb sledge and told me to have at it.

good times for real


EDIT: ^not sure, i just thought about workin with them when i was runnin this morning. i'll call later today or tomorrow and find out where their current site is and i'll let ya know. imma be workin with them on and off whenever i have time until classes start up again. i'll give you Joel's number tho so you can talk with him if u wanna hit em up some other time.

i worked as a Framer for 2.5mo....... shit is hard, you really gotta like what you do. 11 and 12hr days under the hot summer sun workin your butt off get kinduv tiresome after a while.

Decon is hella fun.

once you get all the big stuff out of the house like washer/dryer, sink, stove, random furniture, it's a great deal of entertainment.

Taking out skylights is fun too, given it's not 98 degrees and your knee doesn't look like it's been hit with a few rounds of birdshot from kneeling down on the shingles while you're working.
