make sure all your moisturizers are oil free...i use apricot scrub like 3 times a week(any more and you could exfoliate too much), some pore cleaner by st ives, and noxzema, plus the walmart brand of clearisil pads...in the shower i use a wash cloth and bar o soap

If you wanna spend some money, Kiehls is amazing. My brother uses their shave creams, and that in itself has improved his bumpiness. Their skin care is awesome, IMO. It's sold at Nordstrom's (Southpoint in Durham) or online.

I'm just going to say that Mary Kay makes this cleanser that feels like pure acid on your face, but it makes your skin look really good. You put it on and it just burns and burns, but then you look really really really thoroughly good.

Belks in Crabtree has Keihls now too, but more than anything, you should use a toner....I use cheap Neutrogena facewash, and then take a toner and put it on a cotton ball and rub it all over your face.....it cleans up all the dirt and shit and closes up your pores, works wonders....

I got this stuff at whole foods, and it helped clear up my ex's skin, its got Tea Tree oil in it :
Thoroughly Clean Face Wash from Desert Essence :
(the bottle i have looks like this, though : )

FYI, I watered it down, so it was 50% water and 50% face wash, because it was too strong for my skin.

also, wash your face in the morning and as night before you go to bed
and using a moisturizer with salicylic acid it it should help

fyi, anything new (that works better than what youre doing) will probably cause you to break out more for the first week or two, while its clearing out whats already in your pores

yeap heres what you do

STEP 1] Use a dime size amount of face scrub to remove all the dead skin off of your face

Step 2] then use the double action face wash to clean , a small amount will work

step 3] use the lotion to moisturize your face the q10 is the best

As legit as all of the men's facial cleanser talk is, I still have a hard time seeing a dude type "exfoliate" and not think he's gay.

i actually use gojo pumice on my face. it helps alot w. the ingrown hairs etc. i usually go back afterwards and wash my face with some type of moisturizer afters but you can get a tube of the gojo for the price of a small tube on the "microbead" stuff.

In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

I've tried proactive and it does seem to be effective. I got the cheaper trial size they sell because I really didn't find the point in spending a billion dollars on that crap and w/out it being of use. It's not worth it; worked just as well as the stuff you can find in the store. The only thing I have not found in the store that proactive has is their face scrub has what is akin to sandpaper size particles in it that make you feel like you are really taking your dead skin off your face.

nice

I use proactive, it has a cleanser, toner, and lotion. It takes little to no time to apply. But everyone's skin is different so my advice would be to try a few things until you find something you like.

I store the sweat that I accrue from beating my wife and scrawny gay men, then I use that sweat to wet a towel and wash my face. The pure manliness of the sweat burns away any impurities and needs for homosexual cleansers.

I use a tea tree liquid soap from The Body Shop. I noticed instant improvements in my face. I'd broken out just a few days earlier (I recently found that I'm mildly allergic to blueberries) and my face was clear by the 2nd day I used it.

I wonder if tea tree would help with my bachne? I could lower my T-levels and solve the problem hormonally.

you know, i have gone through probably 80% of the products in this thread. I never tried proactive because i became so fed up with my acne that i went on accutane. On accutane i was forced to go a different route with my face washing. I finished accutane last spring and am still using the same routine with great results.

I use this every morning in the shower and every night before I go to sleep. About a nickel's size, wash and rinse.

I then follow that up after I'm all dried off with

Honestly the best moisturizer i've ever used. I used to hate them b/c they clogged my poors and made me feel greasy. This stuff is so light and makes your face feel great.

there is some neutrogena cleanser I get from target that works really well for me. It is in a white bottle and uses benzoyl peroxide. I read from somewhere that benzoyl peroxide isn't like other cleaners where your face will get used to it after a while and then no longer work. If it works for you once it'll work for you always.
