Isn't there one in Chapanoke Square on S. Saunders? Beware though, Chinese grocery stores are as dirty as their restaurants if not worse.

it was a disaster because i couldn't find shit and nobody spoke engrish. Durh, which i expeceted but i know where everything is at my old store and this one was pretty big. I mean i was there for an hour trying to find 7 things

so, i made pho last night. The stock took two days to make because i did it from scratch. Had leftovers, put them in the fridge. NOW the milk and ice tastes like star anise

the first time i saw powdered anise in the grocery store, i read it as powdered anus; then i showed it to my roommate and he read it as powdered ants

When i was in culinary school, we had a tub of star anise in dry storage that someone labeled "Star Anis"....which poorly written looked like "anus"

i giggled every time i walked by it
