yeah i forgot to turn my brain off before watching. I hated it.

Gonna watch it again when I'm drunk because there were definitely scenes worth a chuckle while sober...I think intoxication will make them much more hilarious.

I enjoyed it. Obviously it wasn't an intellectually stimulating movie... it doesn't try to be. Hell, the title basically tells you that the entire movie will be mindless shooting. And it was awesome at what it tried to accomplish.

I just dont get that, unless, once again they went into it assuming it was a serious action movie and not a parody/comedy... it would be like saying "Weird Al's music sucks, its dumb and the lyrics are corny"... well, no shit, thats the point.

Yeah I was bored stupid in this movie. Clive Owen and Paul Giamatti are so miscast here it's unbelievable. Doesnt matter though, it's about as vapid of a movie as you can get. Yes, I have a sense of humor but it's really not that funny.

It's great, if you can't expand yourself beyond your normal movie formula and just get ready to have a good time, you should probably go back to watching foreign independent films. Here's my rant, I love film, any genre, I like to think I'm a little bit of a movie nerd, but I still love to just enjoy a movie with a ton of action and cheesy one liners. Not every movie has to make me think or feel moved. Just my rant to those who say this movie lacks realistic action, plot or meaning, of course it lacks those things, but a it's about the experience.

Also, you probably want to watch this one on a big screen with the volume turned up to 11.

Don't give me that bullshit. Don't think just because I hate this movie it makes me a snooty movie jerk. I know what the fuck this movie was about and what it was trying to do, and yes, I wateched it thinking I was watching another Hot Shots Part Deux modernized, but that didnt make it funny. It sucked. I saw it last night and loved it.

When it first came out I heard an interview with the director who cited moments in action films when the lead does some completely implausible stunt but you go along with it for the sake of the rest of the movie. He wanted to make a whole movie out of those stupid stunts. I think he did an awesome job. Paul Giamatti was awesome.
