Speaking of banning fat ppl from buffets, that reminds me.... theres one of these 429 item mega buffet chinese resturant on capital bvd, cross from the Lowes. Ive been there a few times and the food is actually good. I have yet to have gotten sick and its $6.50 at lunch. It rules

Yong Feng Lou Chinese Buffet~ they dont have a website but its got salad bar, sushi bar, mongolian grill, the normal buffet stuff, desert bar, and then a small ice-cream shop thingy. Last time i was there i remember wondering how the place could afford to stay in buisness if the fattys knew about the lunch.

i drove by the other day and saw it, but it didn't look like anything impressive. i guess after a while all chinese buffets start looking the same.

i'll take your word and try it sometime soon, it sounds great.

Check out Roh on New Bern Avenue in the Tower Shopping Center. A friend of mine suggested it, so we went last week, and it was really damn good. Not a crazy amount of stuff, but definitely enough to fill you up, and all of the food is fresh (none of that hard General Tsos chicken thats been sitting out for way too long). Also has a Mongolian Grill, although Ill admit I wasnt a big fan of that part. Cost for dinner: $6.95. Best deal in town, minus being on the other side of Raleigh which I rarely have a reason to be.

I really don't think $11 is worth it for their dinner buffet, I thought it was a bit more than that though. Plus you gotta pay for drinks.

those bullshit crab legs tho, where there about as thick as a number 2 pencil

You need king crab legs to make it worth the effort

snow crab is for poor people trying to get a taste of the good life

I went to this one super shitty buffet one time in Florida for my sister-in-law's birthday. We went there because you ate free on your birthday, but for other people it was something ridiculous like $40 or $50. They had crab legs and all that shit (woo hoo for me, being vegetarian), but nobody thought the food was even that good.

So if you're ever around Largo, Florida, don't go to the buffet.

I still think the best Chinese buffet around here is Royal China, corner of Atlantic and Millbrook.

I've never been to Main Garden though, have to give it a try...
