Hey does anyone know anything about getting service codes for tvs? I sometimes get a little tiny line of distortion at the top of the screen on non hd cable stations when using the hdmi connection, and from what I can find online, I need to get into my tv's service menu and adjust the vertical sync.

The problem is that all the possible codes for insignia tvs that I've tried haven't worked or have called for pressing keys on the remote that mine doesn't have.

Insignia TVs are rebranded other types of TVs, and not all from the same ODM.

Go to Insignia's website, and find the remote codes to find out why type of TV it might be, and then try the service procedure for that. It may be there is not even a service menu as well.

Yeah, I'd seen that about it being a rebranded other. Good call on that, I'll try it.
